Welcome to the website of the Eclectic and Phenomenal ladies of the Epsilon Phi Philadelphia Citywide Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Ninety-Eight years ago, twenty-two amazing women with a dynamic vision founded our most illustrious sorority on the campus of Howard University. These collegiate women formed Delta Sigma Theta with a solid foundation grounded in sisterhood, scholarship and service. To this day, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority readily upholds these core values, and Epsilon Phi chapter could not be more eager to do our part in answering Delta’s call.
Epsilon Phi Citywide Chapter was chartered on March 27, 1966 by ten incredible women. Epsilon Phi has a very rich history and under her charter she once encompassed a great number of schools. At this time, Epsilon Phi recognizes three universities: Drexel University, Villanova University, and St. Joseph's University. Currently we are working on a number of events with a focus on uplifting, informing, and educating the community. All of our programs uphold the principles of Delta Sigma Theta’s five point thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
Currently under the leadership of our most glorious 24th National President, Cynthia M.A. Butler McIntyre and our dynamic Regional Director, Robin Jacobs, Epsilon Phi is growing, thriving, and steadfastly doing the work of Delta as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority continues to make amazing strides. We have excellent programs planned for this year and we are eager to share our knowledge and resources for the betterment of the community.
